Not only is Bo stronger with Kenzi, I'd say Kenzi is the strongest of the bunch. She should be the most fearful, but she never hesitates to do the right thing when the people she loves are in trouble.

Totally agree about Kenzi; she pretends, but she really is brave. She's strong deep inside where it counts, as Dyson found out in Original Skin (ep 2.09).
I can hardly wait to find out what Lachlan's Gambit is, but I will tonight; my dad's recorded it for me.
On rewatching Fae-nted Love (yes, I've been recording everything onto DVD), I noticed something: when Bo scratched Ryan, she bled onto the scratches...and the blood seemed to soak in. At the same time, she was drawing on his chi. In other words, he was enthralled. So that's how it works - Aoife didn't tell Bo that bit! That's also why Dyson wasn't affected in Vexed!
I wonder where she is? Or, indeed, if she is; we still don't know if she's alive.

Was it just me, or was Lachlan's Gambit a really fast-paced episode? I loved it!
I really thought Kenzi had overstepped with what Hale called her "moments of crazy brave" (ep 1.13, "Blood Lines") this time; I thought "She cannot go up against those Berserkers, even with a club!" I really thought she'd had it...and that Dyson had.
He's awesome when he gets his Wolf on, isn't he? He even dropped the club, and the message was clear: 'I'm so badass I'm gonna kick your sorry asses with my bare hands!' He is not someone to mess with!
Nor was Ciara; I didn't know she could do that. But it didn't help her against the Garuda...
I got Bo right again in my fanfic; I've been portraying her in it as loving Lauren's not-so-inner geek, and now she's actually come out and said it, bless her! I was expecting them to end up in bed - and wouldn't have been surprised, though it might be way too soon for poor Lauren - but Bo showed a degree of tact and didn't take advantage. She is a true friend.
Dyson had it half right; the time to strike is indeed when the Garuda thinks he's won, but he mistakenly thought that that was hiscue, not Bo's. Hopefully the Garuda won't realise that he killed Lachlan just a little too easily...
But how's Lauren going to stop the venom coagulating? More to the point, how are they going to deliver it?
Can't wait for Into The Dark...though of course I'll have to. Now that I've finally got a job (go me!), it'll be something to look forward to at the end of a working week. Well, three days; I start Wednesday.

Into The Dark...well, now.
I'd always wanted to see more of the Morrigan, but I hadn't envisaged seeing quite that much! Whoo!!! Damn, that girl is hot! Talk about taut, lean, muscular...shiny!
And did she just tell Bo what happened, or did Bo use her powers to read Evony's mind?!
And I got Evony right again in my fanfic; she does toy with the help (in my fic Of Life & Death, Truth & Lies I had her getting off with Tom McBride, the young Alpha of a wolf pack sworn to her, after she kissed each member for bringing Kenzi to her as a hostage for Bo, and McBride took a slight liberty by feeling her up...to discover she didn't object in the least...), and she isopen to options re women! I always thought she had a thing for Bo, and succubi in general! That scene was just electric, and I was really hoping Bo would get off with her!
So Trick is Bo's grandfather - that explains a lot, including her and Aoife's blood powers. I wonder, was Trick's wife called Ysabeau? Is that why the Nain Rouge called Bo that in Original Skin? Presumably Aoife named her daughter after her mother.
Oh well. Finale-watching tonight!

Well, now, so that was season 2! Awesome!
I really thought Kenzi had had it this time, until Lauren came up with an ingenious solution. She's brave enough to be in the thick of it, but she really doesn't belong there; she's a lover, not a fighter.
I love that Bo still can't quitesay those three little words to Lauren without qualifying them: "I love you...all," indeed. I wonder if the new Ash will do the decent thing and free her from her oath? More to the point, what will Bo do if he doesn't?!
How typical of Vex, not sticking to the plan! On the other hand, it did give Bo the edge she needed, exactly when she needed it, so I think we can let him off for that one. As for the Nain Rouge, her vision was accurate but misleading; she didn't say anything about the Garuda being in Trick's body at the time!
Did Trick make the wrong choice, forcing a peace? Hmm. Assuming what the Garuda showed him was accurate, on the face of it he should have left well alone; such a selfless man would doubtless have gladly surrendered to a united force of Light and Dark Fae intent on his execution if it meant peace. On the other hand...they might have 'eventually' made peace as the Garuda claimed, but how long is 'eventually', and how many casualties would there have been in the meantime? What state would the world have been in by then? No, peace was the way. It held, however tenuously, for a thousand years.
As for Bo - she seems to be more powerful than Aoife; it only took six Thralls to turn her into the all-powerful unstoppable Fury we saw in Death Didn't Become Him (ep 2.08). And apparently, she still is - I wonder if her not taking the life essence means she'll always be like that? Will she spend season 3 fighting with herself? Then again, there was a moment when she seemed to like what she was seeing...eep!
And what's with that rash on Kenzi's arm? Is that something from her awesome encounter with the Norn? Loved Chainsaw Kenzi, going Bo-dacious on the Norn, kickin' ass and takin' names! Bo would've been so proud of her if she'd seen that!
There's still the issue of Kenzi's favour for the Morrigan outstanding, too...as well as Aoife. Who was that guy who picked her up? My first guess would be Bo's father, whoever he is. I imagine we'll find that out, too.
I had wondered what our heroes would have to deal with in season 3 once the Garuda was sorted out. Seems they've a lot to be getting on with after all...! ROLL ON SEASON 3!!!

Oh, yes - that one was fun! Such scripts, where actors are playing each other's roles, are good opportunities for the actors to show just how good they are and how well they know each other's characters - and our heroes did not disappoint. Hale had me in stitches taking the opportunity to feel Ciara up! But Dyson as Kenzi was definitely the best performance, Kris Holden-Reid giving it his all:
"I'm a succubus who's topped up on fairy chi, there ain't a man alive can stop me!"
"I'll take that bet!"
Actually, Zoie played the loony with relish, I thought. They were all good, though. I haven't seen such performances since Red Dwarf's Body Swap, in which Lister and Rimmer swapped bodies:
Kryten: "It's something we tried once on the Nova 5."
Lister (not a little worried): "Did it work?"
Kryten (cheerfully):"No, but I'm pretty sure I know what went wrong."
- classic!

Lost Girl Season 3 starts tonight on Syfy, 10pm Eastern/9 Central, to be repeated at 1am/12c.
It started last Sunday night on Showcase in Canada. Not sure how many episodes there will be this year.

Apparently, Lost Girl fans across the pond will have to wait until March - gorrammit!
So again, please, no spoilers!

I've not kept up. Caught most of season 1, but as hot as Anna Silk is, I just sorta wandered off.
Apparently she went bad, or something ? Dyson really annoyed me, for some reason. Just never have bought into their whole relationship, which may be the one driving thing that drove me off.
Glad it's still on though. Might catch up, later on.

Well, in season 2 their relationship was totally off, for reasons that are better watched than explained. You guys, at least, have the DVD sets available. :)
I will say that Bo hasn't gone bad per se. What did happen in season 2 was that she (accidentally) discovered she's considerably more powerful than anyone thought, and that came in handy at the end of the season. Plus the rift between Bo and Lauren seems to have been resolved (not without a complication or two along the way). You'll see rather more of the Morrigan in season 2 - hoo boy, will you see more of her! Rowf!
As for me, I'm a confirmed fan, beyond hope - so much so that I'm writing fanfic. I currently have six on the go! I just can't reason with my muse! The crazy bitch won't leave me alone! She's got me writing a Lost Girl/NCIS crossover now!
Mind you, I do think it's a good idea; conventional forensic techniques probably wouldn't be able to identify casus mortis in a succubus kill, so naturally people like Ducky and Abby would be intrigued...
Anyway. You really should watch season 2. Trust me, it's well worth it.
