I'm looking for one of Mal's replica stunt pistols. Does anyone have one that they'd be willing to sell?

>_>

Well, you could always pop in Trash, but I'm thinking that's not the advice you're looking for.

*bump for you*

Everywhere I look, ebay or stores, I see the same sad story about the Official Edition Sold Out --- Official Malcolm Reynolds Stunt Pistol Replica

But if you're handy with a paint brush and glue there are alternatives:

“Comes unassembled and unpainted.”

“. . . a little kit building experience is helpful for assembling and finishing the prop, but not necessary.”

Put the plastic gun into the official Firefly Mal Holster Artisan Replica and the gun will look real. If anyone asks to see the gun, tell them that you never draw it from the holster unless somebody is goin' to die.

Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY the:
www.kingofswords.com/Swords/Movie-Replicas/Aresenal-Replicas/Firefly-C
aptain-Mals-Pistol.html

“Comes unassembled and unpainted.”
version of the Mal pistol!
It is the Arsenal/Coolmodels version which they copied/stole from an early fan cast that is HORRIBLY inaccurate,
and only about 3/4 size to boot.

The Monsters In Motion version:
www.monstersinmotion.com/cart/sci-fi-as-in-science-fiction-item-list-a

is actually a Wilco Models version.
Not accurate either, but still a decent replica.
The Wilco kits come up on eBay fairly regularly, for slightly lower prices.
(Thirty five-ish IIRC)

about three posts down, I posted some info on the different Mal pistols available.
If you check out all five pages, I posted a fair amount of how-I-did-it info.

I have one of the Wilco models. I'm actually pretty satisfied with it.

I've redone the paint since that picture was taken, and it looks quite good. For some reason, he doesn't have anything listed right now, but they show up often enough. http://myworld.ebay.com/wilcomodels/
