(Thought I'd seen a teaser posted on YouTube a few months ago, but I guess it was taken down.)

After io9 posted the latest set pics showing the full-size landing gear assembly...

I took another look at the earliest still from the film that I'd seen...

...and suddenly it hit me: That looks like the landing gear from the SNARK, my favorite unused design of Ron Cobb's from the original A L I E N!

Ohhhhhh, I so hope they're using that design in the new film!

Yes, it looks pretty amazing. I am a huge Ridley Scott fan. I am not a fan of Damon Lindelof. I don't care for anything he has written.....so far.
Not saying his stuff is bad at all, I just never connected with anything he has done. I hope this film works for me.
I am most certainly going to watch this when it is released.
