IMDB is showing Elysium for 2013, so I'll add that one for that year along with Serenity 2: Revenge of the Alliance.

Hey L. Doesn't he just eh? I thought the same thing when I saw the trailer. I'm not a huge fan of Goldman as I think he has a tendency to overact. However I must admit for this he seems absolutely perfect. Do you remember the original series with Guiness back in the 80's? I imagine like me you were still a kid back then but I do recall it being a huge TV event at the time. My dad would watch it religiously. I think this will be an interesting update.

THE THING. I'm a touch wary of this prequel/remake/reboot/reimagining but I must admit, being a fan of both the 50's one and the 80's one I'm hoping this remake will do it's predecessor's justice and serve as a worthy addition to the story.
THE MUPPETS. I just can't help but love the muppets. So this one I hope to go see with my nieces and nephews. Should be fun.
Looking a little further still:
PROMETHEUS has my interest piqued. When I saw Avatar I did wonder at what Alien would 'feel' like had Scott the 3D technology back then. It seems like the ultimate film for current 3D, and Scott's abilities, as the best for such technology. So I have high hopes.
JOHN CARTER Interested to see what Andrew Stanton, who cut his teeth directing animation will do with a live action feature.
THE AVENGERS Apparently the guy who did Buffy is making this... So sure why not.

The Woman in Black was slated to be released in August of this year, but got pushed back to February. I have no problem with that.
On a side note 2 films That got released this month that I was interested in seeing have tanked. Horrible numbers. Conan, and Fright Night. I was shocked to see that Conan the Barbarians budget was upward of $90 million(I think it has earned 16 so far). Fright Night on the other hand was written by Marti Noxon(one of my favorite Buffy writers) and was shocked that there was so little interest in it. My friend watched it and said it was pretty awesome. Lots of suspense, and very well written. I still plan on seeing both.

Fright Night was very good. Just saw it last night, and really liked it.

We agree again. One of these days we are going to disagree about something and it will set off the chain reaction that will cause the end of the world in 2012.
I've been a fan of Gary Oldman's work for many years since Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead (excellent, highly underrated movie) but I do agree that he can overact at times. Although I do think this tends to happen in what could be called 'paycheck' movies.
Yeah I was a kid when TTSS was on TV but I remember wanting to watch it because it had Ben Kenobi in it!! My dad watched it religiously too but I did get to see Smiley's People when that aired - which was also excellent. Many years later I borrowed a video copy off a friend and finally watched TTSS. Classic TV.
I've just read that Empire magazine has given it 5 stars and summarises it with:
"Utterly absorbing, extremely smart and - considering this is a sad, shabby, drably grey-green world of obsessives, misfits, misfits, misdirection, disillusionment, self-delusion and treachery - quite beautifully executed."
Sounds like this could be up for awards when that season is here again.
And on a final note I have to second RiverTam1 for mentioning Knights Of Badassdom. I just hope it turns out to be as good as it's potential.

Yes I did consider that when I wrote the remark. I think it's something that is often a requirement for British actors. Y'know because of the whole thing about how they make for great villains. I was pleased with the way Nolan used him the Batman films though.
