She didn't
If she didn't sign a release and they published it, she can sue the living SH*T out of them and WIN without trying. Next week, it'll be Newsweek magazine, owned and published by Michelle Bachman.
So don't be an asshole, you ASSHOLE!

Jon Stewart is spot on, as usual.
It's not personal. It's just war.

The assholes are at Newsweek. Not just my opinion, but John Stewart and N.O.W. agree w/ me.

Concho, I deliberately didn't make a crack about Rush and Glenn; I kinda figured somene else would before long, tho'. And I know of NO liberal who has ever considered Garafolo any more than a nutcase...slightly battier than Michael Moore, but not by much! Yeah, we've got our batshits too, but they're not politicians in positions of power or striving to be, that's the difference to me.

Thanx Cuda. I looked all OVER for it, but didn't see it on their website anywhere. I should have just asked you and saved myself all that time! ;o)
Newold: CAN she sue if she didn't sign a release? I thought as a public figure she couldn't sue over photographs she didn't approve, as long as they were real. Either that, or every tabloid across the planet can be sued for all the ugly photos the paparazzi gives them...

First truth you've posted in many a moon.

I don't think anyone is denying that Newsweek chose that picture for a reason, who's disputed that? What I've disputed is your saying he was "defending" her, which he certainly wasn't! Can you grasp the concept of being able to chide someone about doing something wrong to someone you personally don't like? Try it on for size, 'cuz that's what happened. And you could leave all the silly rhetoric and adjectives home if you felt like it, because they mean nothing.
On the other hand, I have to refute Mike's remark about her not looking at the camera. As much fun as it was, it was a simple mistake of not knowing which camera she was supposed to be looking at. Which Jon Stewart also had an absolute BALL with, and alluded to again in the segment you've been ranting about. That was a faux pas that she's still living down, but it was, in my opinion, an honest mistake and in no way indicates her intelligence or sanity.
ETA: Neither Jon Stewart nor NOW have said anything about Newsweek being an "asshole", so that one's so far out in left field even YOU can't catch it.
Oh, and I forgot: ![]()

And with all the video cameras around Jon Stewart and the N.O.W., you of course have video to back up the claim that they called Newsweek an "asshole", right?
I mean, you're real big on providing "proof" of things, aren't you?
Care to back up that claim that it's not just your opinion that they're assholes?

What I said is that it's one of the two things she's known for - not looking at the camera, and having a wild-eyed crazy look.
You saying she's still trying to live it down rather proves what I was saying: that it's one of the things she's known for!
