Over the past month I've sold a bunch of DVDs and CDs, and I am grateful for the Browncoats who helped me out (and hopefully they feel they got a good deal). This week I'm selling some books. Won't make a whole lot of money on them but it will free up a lot of space. As before, I will combine shipping on multiple items.

I realize this is the forum I should have used the other times. I put the thread about DVDs in "Other SF series" since most of what I was selling fell into that category, and then the CD thread was in "Talk Story." This will probably be it for a while, although if things get desperate enough I might think about parting with some of my Firefly memorabilia, as much as it pains me to think of that.

Grabbing the lot of 7 classic novels and the sherlock holmes book as soon as ebay emails me my password (blurg). Thanks Eco!

Thanks guys. I'll get them in the mail tomorrow.
DMI, I got your email about the change of address, but you should have waited to pay since I would have combined the two items and given you a break on the postage. But it is much appreciated. Just in case you take another look at what I have for sale and decide you want some others, you can make the commitment to buy but don't pay until you send me a note about it and I'll reduce the postage on that package.
And BTW, my username is ecgordon, not ecogordon. As in E.C.Gordon, the main character in Heinlein's Glory Road. So the abbreviation would be ec or EC, not eco.

That copy of Niven's "Patchwork Girl" is kinda hard to come by, if memory serves. I spent a good while tracking mine down many years ago.
Sorry to see you part with these, EC. Hopefully they'll go to loving homes and be read and re-read many times over by new generations!

No worries on the postage. I am a Heinlein fan as you probably surmised, but I haven't gotten around to Glory Road just yet so I missed the reference.

Meh..
I wanted to buy lots of those books and got all excited only to have "only ships to US" slap me in the face....

I might make an exception for a Browncoat, Calhoun, but international postage has gone up a lot in the last couple of years. It might not be economical for you to have to pay that much for shipping.

I guess it's a good thing I had two copies.

No kidding. Small flat-rate USPS international box is $11.35. Medium flat-rate (would hold 5 books, most likely) is $45.50! And UPS and FedEx are much higher.
I ship a lot of stuff internationally, and people always think I'm trying to screw 'em on the shipping - and I have to insist that I'm charging them ONLY what I'm being charged, not adding on a penny!
