This is a non-event. Someone poorly managed a store. This is what happens when you attract the maximum amount of customers and don't hire enough staff. I've seen it happen to many people who have owned stores. The main problem is not being stingy or greedy but just poorly managing a store. Each person who comes into the store should be generating income, but that doesn't mean they should be buying from you. If a manhour is worth $10, then a bunch of customers at your store will generate that, if you run it right.
The problem is seldom, if ever, as simple as "crime." The business will fail, but not because of this incident. The owner hasn't really thought it through.
That's what a ship is, you know - it's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs.
