Not much happening in Milwaukee. Finally warmed up after a cold wet Spring.
Zeek; how was your family reunion? My immediate family lives in or near Wisconsin so we don't plan any special outings. We just gather every couple of years and bore each other with details of our lives.

Family reunion was about what I expected. A bunch of people I don't give a rat's ass about. They were at least nice people and made me feel like maybe I didn't get utterly horrible genes from that side of the family. Maybe it's just nurture that made my Dad suck so badly.

There was one shining beckon of hope for the reunion. The sail boat we were going on was the same boat they used in the filming of Wedding Crashers! I love Wedding Crashers! Plus I'd be on the same boat Rachel McAdams has been on. That's like as close as I'll ever get to being around her! Then the fail hit. We were all lined up to go on the boat and at the last minute the captain switched our group over to the sister ship. Just some lame sail boat with nothing amazing about it. Reunion's saving grace denied!

I did find out that my Dad is ancient now. I think it's been a good 4 years or so since I've seen him. He's like at that age where he's a public menace in a car. He should have his license revoked IMO. He was slow as shit with any decision we were making. I kept thinking "dude you're clearly going to die soon shouldn't you get a move on?". I thought it was funny that after the sailing he talked about maybe taking sailing lessons "sometime down the road". Um...that road is like a block long at this point dude. Better get started tomorrow if you're going to do that.

Yeah I remember when I realized my grammy shouldn't be driving ( I was 15 and still learning, but even I know you don't turn into the oncoming traffic's turn lane to get somewhere)

New job is going fine for the most part. I've quickly figured out who's competent and who isn't. Sadly I'm stuck working with the incompetent ones. This whole week the main portion of my job has been blocked by these two. I can't decide if I'm going to refer to them as dingus and mingus or dumb and dumber. I swear some of the email chains I get copied on are a cross between caveman grunting and mentally disturbed word salad. My manager got copied into the last chain and finally put an end to it telling them to stop emailing and call each other.
