Oh I get that there are some that don't care, and you know what, who cares. If more Americans cared less about the rest of the world, and actually stayed out of it, at least militarily speaking, we'd all be better off.

I wouldn't mind if America saw itself as the big world protector if it was a nation of informed voters about world issues, but it seems that so much foreign policy is orchestrated and supported by people who know jack shit and see the world as 'good folks and bad folks and we is gonna bomb the shit outa the bad folks'.
