Logans Run tv series is coming to dvd. I have to admit, I remember this vaguely. What I remember isn't too good...but
I will pick it up. DC Fontana is the lead writer for crying out loud, how can I not?

I know I watched every ep, but it was so long ago I've forgotten them completely. With DC Fontana, maybe we were too young to appreciate the fine writing?

As far as Seventies SF TV goes, there's
then
...all the rest come in second IMO.

The only thing I remember is the studio kept shortening the female leads skirt with each episode. When you watch the series keep an eye on her skirt and se if it doesn't get shorter.

Yes, I posted hastily.
Y'know, I still don't own that series!
I guess correcting that will be my New Year's Resolution...
As for Logan's Run... that particular cheese was moldy BACK WHEN IT CAME OUT!

Quite right. Here is a pic from an episode with Lost in Space star Angela Cartwright(grown up, looking good).

Galactica and Apes are tops for me too.
If I remember correctly Logans Run is close to the Apes show premise. 3 fugitives on the run from an oppressive bad guy. 2 humans 1 android running from the sandman(mirroring POTA series 2 humans, 1 ape on the run from Urko). Running across the Beautiful California countryside. They both lasted 14 episodes, and both aired on CBS.
Also( a bit of research), much like the Planet of the Apes series, Logan's Run has some seriously hard core fans.
Who knew?

I'm one (of the movie).I just remember disliking the series because it wasn't very close to the movie.
Plus the cheesy video FX...
