Hey Chris.
I just remembered another one:
The Invaders.
I loved this show and while I wasn't around for it's original airing it was being shown on BBC2 when I was a kid in the 80's.
I used to watch it when I got back from school, and I do recall starting to follow it quite avidly and then suddenly whammo! Nothing! Man I was devastated. That show was gripping!
I always chalked it down to the BBC just giving up on things in place of broadcasting some sporting event, like Golf. (They used to do that a lot back then).
Anyway years later - when the internet came about I was able to research it and I find out the The Invaders was just cancelled and so they didn't finish the story!

Firefly - (I began watching from day one. What hooked me was Serenity flying over the horses in title sequence)
My So-Called Life - (Best drama going)
Joan of Arcadia - (Amber Tamblyn, loved the premise, Best Drama of it's time)
Eli Stone - (This show was brilliant)
Wonderfalls - (From the creator of Pushing Daisies)
Pushing Daisies - (Funny & entertaining)
Southland - (Best cop drama since NYPD Blue)
Space: Above & Beyond -(Best Sci-fi show going; heard it cost a cool million per episode to produce)
Mann & Machine - (Yancy Butler)
Dark Angel -(James Cameron and Jessica Alba, hooked!)

Six Million Dollar Man.
The Adventures of Beans Baxter. Karen Mystal was the reason.
Due South. Gave up on TV after that, never saw Firefly until Aug 2007 broadcast.

Two that I have to mention.
First, while it took several iterations to finally kill it off, Babylon 5 and all of its not canceled/canceled talk seriously affected the way JMS told his story - I REALLY would have liked to see it told the way he envisioned it and with the original actors.
Second, Pushing Daisies - that show had such a heart and character focus - excellent cast and new, fresh ideas.

9.99 pounds translates to just under $16. I'm not expecting the quality to be great, but Sonisall is 11, and I'm not gonna wait till he's in his teens to show it to him when and if they finally release it proper!
