From what I remember, it was when Jaye and Mahandra were in Jaye's trailer discussing why she decided to help Gretchen, and Mahandra referred to the 6 1/2th year reunion as a "shindig".

i noticed the shindig thing too:) hehehe...but i missed wound-up penguin! i was all excited for it cause the idea of a wind-up penguin talking is just shiny. my taper went to the movies and forgot:( sigh...

There's been firefly references in the last 3 episodes, far too many for it to be a coincidence, did you catch 'is there a reward?' and 'Binky' (both episode 2)
