Well, in short, it was great. We definitely have a lot in common, and I think there's definite chemistry there, too. There is very likely a second date in the future.

Oh honey, don't think like that. And no, I don't want the names of any crazy people, what would I do with that?

I'm so glad it went well for you, though. You keep me updated, you hear? You have my email, too, remember.

*wanders into bar*

*finds quiet corner*

*collapses*

sheesh, long day, about two thirds of way through jobs for weekend but done, too sleepy (was asleep most of the morning).

Hope everyone is having a good weekend and that the Bengals hurry up and stop being 0-3 down to the Browns and preferably not by giving up more points

Gong to curl up with new digital toy until dinner time, I might be too attached to my Kindle already and only had it since Friday!

And I've made the best sour cream I've ever tasted. It was a good week.

Ok been insanely busy. Went to SLC to hang with the whole family , caught bronchitis, had awesome brother in law ( who is now an official doctor) call in prescription and cure me, then retunred home where I am trying to finish my last 2 weeks as a behavior consultant while simultaneously teaching high school... it's nuts here:)Oh and for those of you who don't see my copious facebook posts Johnny is walking/running :)

Hugs Gee- nice to see you survived the concussion:)

YAY for awesome date Rose

Sorry for leaving some of you out.. this is a drive by posting. After Friday I will have a semi normal life again and resume posting appropriately

Ok I'll liven things up by laying out a buffet:)

Also I belive this bar needs a signature drink...and here it is

The Firefly Women ( straight forward vodka for Zoe, smooth rich decadent chocolate for Inara, spicy unexpected kick of pepper for River, and fluffy, sweet, and fragrent whipped cream for Kaylee)

Firefly Women's Martini
1 shot Firefly Vodka
1 shot chocolate liquor
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 shot heavy cream lightly whipped to a foam (not stiff peaks)
1 tsp orange zest
shaved chocolate to garnish

In a shaker place ice, vodka, chocolate liquor and pepper. Shake well and strain into martini glass. gently fold the zest into the lightly whipped cream then pour it on top and garnish with shaved chocolate.

That sounds delicious, MsA, I'll take one!

Though upon reflection, I think rum might suit Zoe better. I'm not sure why.
