Perhaps you can get Sean to sign your hamster... ?

James is a funny and gracious fellow. He was the main guest at the one and only Con I've ever attended. He stayed way over time to ensure everyone got something signed. I thought that was lovely Though he did call me "weird and not in a good way" which was weird in itself because he seemed to mean it as a compliment. (I was entertaining people while we waited in line as well as bantering backwards and forwards with him and officials oh yeah and calming down the hysterical lady who was a bit overwhelmed by it all and shooting daggery looks at the mean chick I'd made cry earlier in the day because she'd said despicable things about the friend I was with who she didn't even know and others). Hope y'all get to meet/hear him speak sometime.

That is true! Any it's my main comfort, since I haven't seen him at a con before. I do doubt that he'll be willing to bite me during a photo op, but I suppose I can ask...
You ever had this feeling, like you jumped into a conversation at the exact wrong moment?
I feel like that ALL the TIME.

Yes, boris, I agree he's wonderfully gracious and happy to please his fans.

What? James Marsters did indeed bite me for a photo op. And he can still get that perfect 'Spike' look on his face while he does.

I have no idea what's happening here. See, my brain has quickly built a fortress of obtusity surrounding it's vulnerable imagination centers and meats, but it's cut off most of my higher functionality. I'm responding now only through rote memorization that I trained into myself under mysterious circumstances, as it's very likely I've also forgotten how to breathe.
Air make pretty colour.

He's also the recurring villain on the new Hawaii 5-O, so he has two new shows.

No one is forcing you to take part in this conversation.

According to my dictionary, the form you are looking for is obtuseness. Obtusity is not a word. I must say, though, it's an excellent example of Buffy-speak.

That would be the possessive form, its.

I suppose that explains it.

So you know that scene in Serenity, when Kaylee starts talking about things that run on batteries? And Mal's reaction? And how it's supposed to be funny?
You're fine, I am fine with people having their pictures taken with their favourite actors, and asking them if they'll do a funny pose.
I'm being the annoying guy who pops up and says "kinky!" or "you don't hear that every day!" Then I tried to hint even more at the Just-Kidding-ness by doing a self-deprecation guy parody with an extreme unnecessary overreaction. Are you unfamiliar with geek to geek humour, where we tease each other for our unusual and quirky obsessions? Hey, I'm posting on a Firefly board. Interesting.

According to your dictionary, you are in fact wrong.
