Here's the email I just sent to them.
Good morning, I just joined Meetup and have a suggestion.
I have the option of being in either Minneapolis or St. Paul - but not both. Both show too few members to have a meetup.
The downtowns of Minneapolis and St. Paul are 15 minutes from one another. We aren't called the "Twin Cities" for nothing. This city listing should be updated to St Paul/Mpls so that Twin Citians can garner enough members.
I've lived all over the country and these are my other suggestions for 'metroplex' options.
Dallas/Ft Worth
Oklahoma City/Normon
Akron/Canton

Hey Channain and Knibblet, I signed up yesterday. Do we know any more Msp/StP Browncoats who we can get to sign up?

I am in Mpls/St. Paul area as well. Though ya'll prolly know my wife better. Just signed up for these boards today. I am married to Miloradell....when she chooses to claim me

This would be why all most other NFL teams has a city in their name (Tampa Bay, Detroit, LA come to mind), whilst ours - such as it is - has the whole state in its name.

I've been wondering if you were comfortable with posting some kind of notice about the "Minne-Shindig" somewhere, or if that would be jumping the gun?
Okay, so I'm starting school next week, then it's Easter. So I won't have much free time for the next couple of weeks...
oh, by the way, I haven't called that friend of yours yet, and I thought maybe before I do, I should be able to tell her who referred me to her. Would she know you by Knibblet? I mean it could happen, but if not, could you e-mail me your RL name?
