This is something I've been working on (off and on) for months, possibly almost a year now. It's one of the most difficult paintings I've ever done, but it is definitely one of my favorites (which is why I won't be selling it (unless someone made a great offer)). For the most part it was just a challenge for me, something to aspire to finishing, which I just did today.

As for the details, it's done in acrylic paint, and is 18x24" on stretch canvas.

Enjoy :)

Exactly how great would that offer need to be?

From a fellow artist, nicely done. Great depth in making Serenity appear ABOVE the clouds. Getting the size depth and perspective can be difficult. I applaud you.

And someone else who prefers acrylics. You can get the feel of watercolor AND oils with one medium.

Bravo

If Darkhorse ever releases an ongoing Serenity comic book series, Scott Allie should definitley use this painting on the cover of the first issue. It would be awesome.
