Shindig - Book's Angry Look

Okay, so I've been rewatching the series and I'm up to Shindig. Anyway, I reached the point where River rips the labels off the tins. Book says something like "we'll have a few mystery meals", then shoots Simon a somewhat angry glare.

Has anyone else noticed this? It just struck me as being so at odds with his previous characterization.

He does look at Simon, but his expression strikes me as more concerned.

Maybe. It was the narrow eyes and shaking head that suggested anger to me. You could be right though.

Ah, I see. That could be confusion, maybe, wondering why River did what she did. Kind of squinting at her or something.
