We won't suffocate; we'll freeze to death first, is that it?

A Dark Angel site I used to inhabit died a while back, I hope that's not happening here.

So, Dollhouse got capped, is the interest in Joss' works waning?

Do we have to wait for his Avengers movie to come out before we talk in full force again??

RWED is boring the ice planets out of me with the insessent "If it's left it's suddenly good" crap. Alliance scumbags know no poles. They're everywhere, waiting to control.

And as much as I loves me my Kirk & Spock, the Trek boards are full of self-righteous Starfleet Purplebellies ready to issue a citation for humour.

Oh well, I'm here... *echo*

Well, you got me, and my more recent piles of Anime, having filled out all but two of my current "list" (Planetes and Hell Girl Season Two).

Currently laughing my way through Tsukuyomi: Moon Phase (all the more amusing cause I really DID have a bratty kid sister with an entitlement complex, still do!) and just polished off the strangely named, but surprisingly good Pumpkin Scissors series.

Been maybe lookin into pickin up the Star Trek MMO, but they don't have Romulans yet, and I loves my cloaking device, Klingons aren't really so much my style even if they do get one, they're just not as inherently sneaky.

In the meantime been playin a little Star Wars: Battlefront II - it never does get old, although I do get annoyed at the AI helps incompetence at holding checkpoints, you want it done right, you do it yourself, but when you've JUST captured a third one and they're *already* losing the second and lost the first before you even got here it's frustrating.

On the other, given my feelings for the Jedi, getting to roll me a Droideka all by itself is worth what I paid for the whole game, they don't call them things Jedi-killers for nothin, let's see your lightsaber block THIS, eh ?
(Punting Yoda around with HE is pretty fun too, snarky little jerk deserves it!)

The pick up n play mechanics of the space battles are awesome too, especially when you get real people involved.

Maybe the rain isn't really to blame.

It seems that most of my boards are very slow, the only one that isn't is "Legend of the Seeker" board out of England. This season of Seeker has still got 6 episodes before the end of season 2, so there is a lot of activity there. Plus we have a sponsor of the show and a writer/ co-producer who post with us, so that I think makes it a lot more fun. We are trying to get a 3rd season of Seeker so we have lots of activity right now, but I have noticed a big drop everywhere. I blame Twitter, if you start on it, it seems to 'suck' you into not leaving, ever. I get on during the week-ends for a while, but I don't find it as much fun as the boards. I hope the newnest wears off or things will change. I feel those of us who are still onthe boards need to post more and maybe if we get some interesting subjects people will post more. The post about talking to Mal was a good one, we need more like that one. What happened to the picture thread, that was fun too.

Don't understand most of that post, but I agree with you on.....

RWED sucks, absolutely sucks. Same 'ole crap day after day. You know exactly what I mean, I'm sure.

General Areas are waning badly. I don't even see any current threads about Morena on V, which I am liking in a not overly smallish way.

Star Trek...I don't go to other sites, but I've found that your Trek posts are always interesting and fun.

I popped in the other day around noon and most of the threads still had "0 posts today." Made me a bit sad. I noticed the slow down after that new guy showed up and started telling us all that we weren't trying hard enough to get the show back. I was angry too but I didn't abandon the board. But even before that I've noticed the old staples falling away. Flattop stopped posting the vote thread and I haven't seen PhoenixRose's picture thread in awhile but I know people have lives.

Well, I'm not going anywhere. Even if FFF is a bit less like the bar in canton and a bit more like the Q continuum in voyager. Pull up a rocking chair.

I watched the first episode of Planetes since you recommended it Chrisisall. I wasn't totally hooked but I'm gonna watch a few more. Wish there were dubs, though.

A great many people stopped posting in it. It's still there, just almost completely bereft of pictures. I can't really claim innocence, as I stopped really posting much there, but I was starting to feel like I was keeping it going by myself, and it got tiring. On top of my end-of-school crunch, I haven't had time or inspiration to take or post any photos. Clearly, I'm not alone in that

Hey there's PR! How's it going? Don't let school run you in to the ground.

See, folks are still around Chris, they're just busy and like the terminator, they'll be back. Whether it's Avengers or something else that draws the browncoats' return remains to be seen...

You mean as in English? My DVD set plays in English by default; you have to manually switch to Japanese...
