Riverlove, up to the usual. Posting diatribes and not responding to anything that might make him uncomfortable. *sigh* (But I'll note that when I checked him this morning his first thread had started "Democrats and their liberal media whores..." So, the fact that he toned it down means that he's making progress? Maybe?)

I'll add my own tidbit to be ignored: how about the active encouragement of violent rhetoric by conservative leaders today? How many "gunhair" and "reload" statements were made against Bush by liberal politicians?

Me, I'm still waiting for any response to what I thought were my logical, factual posts that 1) there was no proof those in the photos were democrats, 2) actual REPUBLICANS have acted in extreme ways, and 3) democrats have tried to join with republicans to create civility, a call which was rejected by the republicans.

But RL, just like Rappy, has decided that by ignoring posts it means they are magically erased from reality and no one else can read them.


BTW - way to go RL - sticking your head in the sand to make the uncomfortable world go away. Which of course, it doesn't.

I'll accept your statement that your earlier remark was not a snark, but the way it was worded, and your previous responses to me made that seem difficult to imagine. If it truly was meant in kindness, my apologies and thank you.

I don't hate you; you're the one who went after me, seemingly out of the blue in another thread, with all kinds of lies, slurs and distortions in a lengthy post aimed directly at me, nobody else--if memory serves, it was actually a post which begun a thread, so the thread was aimed directly at me. I replied and pointed out that you were wrong, in detail, and you never responded. You've also called me some doozy of names since then in myriad posts. That kinda tells me how YOU feel about ME, so I remember that when reading your posts. Simple as that.

My response was actually a teasing reply to Sig's post above it. It didn't have anything to do with you, except as the subject of the mocking.

However, you could prove us ALL wrong by answering Mal, Story's and my relevant questions in this thread; they're not hard to find, in fact here, I'll give them to you:

In all fairness we should point out that you did cite evidence of a Repub headquarters being vandalized--although given, as I mentioned, that there were effigies of both Bush AND Kerry left behind, it kinda doesn't fit the definition of "left-wing violence".

Nonetheless, you want to get real? Control your nastier impulses, refrain from hurling invectives and slurs, and answer those three questions. Then you both have a position from which to diss others if they don't respond reasonably, and perhaps we could have a meaningful debate--otherwise, you're just being another wind in the trees.

If I could, I would add a fourth question: How do you view the Republican party refusing to join the Democratic party in a call for lowering the tone of hatred?
