Actually, the Carebears now frighten me.
See, one of the "bad guy" characters in Black Lagoon is Gretel, part of a pair of kids who are in fact completely sociopathic monsters, who happen to slaughter folk for entertainment and pleasure, as well as believing that the lifes they end are added to their own, making them immortal.
Four-Plus Crazy, creepy beyond measure, right ?

And in the scene where she explains "why" they do what they do, when you realize just how completely gone round the bend psycho she is...
In that moment I recognized the voice actress as Jocelyne Loewen, one of the Care Bears.

Leave it to some rich-yet-not-as-well-educated-as-core-world dandy like Atherton Wing to screw up the whole Leda-swan thing with a crane. I'm imagining Inara doing one of those subtle aside scene-within-a-scene camera work eye-rolls in response. Especially with Atherton thinking of himself as Zeus... The man has a serious ego.
Though, does the Asian continent even HAVE swans? Maybe that's the appropriate counter-part, what with Atherton being wannabe Sihnonese.
