Whoah, I hadn't thought of the new Trek movie as perfect, but our Cap'n said it, so I guess it's so!
Watched it last night, and know what? I actually enjoyed it more after Nathan's blessing!!
I mean, it's no Serenity, but...

I've said the same thing several times in these threads. And I've seen the movie about a dozen times now. From start to finish, the movie just moves along, and everything and everyone works for me to love it each time I watch.

I don't know about "perfect', there are at the least, some pretty wonky things in the script.
But, it generally rises above it flaws to be one hell of a fun flick.
