It's a fermented beverage. Likening to cough syrup is probably the most complimentary I could ever be about such things; usually I liken them more to gasoline. Or rancid tauntaun bile. I imagine since it's honey wine, it reminded me most of the honey-related cough medicine, I wouldn't say it tasted much like lemons.
So glad the semester is starting on Monday and I won't have to go to work so much.

Survived another week.
Having a RL beer. LIG.
Those charts will still be waiting for me on Monday, ambushing me like Hobbes when I open the office door. For now, they are sleeping. (Yes, like Hobbes.)
Water's on for pasta, waiting for the hubster and boychild to come home. (No, not to go on the pasta, to go AROUND the pasta!)
PR: Have you ever tried creme de cassis? It's blackcurrant liquer. Quite nice and fairly mellow in flavor. It's used *in* things normally like white wine (Kir) or champagne (Kir Royale), but I like it in hot cider and other such bevvies.

Yay me too Rosie ( on the surviving) rates as one of my worst weeks ever ...I really think we should be like the UK and give 10-12 months maternity leave

CLEAR!!!!!
ZAP...
There... much better
Barkeep, I'll have have a Pint o' the good stuff.
Been a strange couple of weeks. Rose was fired from her job of 6 years on New Years eve by her assistant manager. After a few days, she called the store manager and spoke to him.
Rose has her job back
But in the meantime, I think I will keep an eye out for something better for her.

(Puts down a pocket knife. Holds out a long stick with a string on.)
"Here. I whittled you this for Rose. It's a magic job-fishing pole."
(Hands over a card which reads: "Wave around as needed and see what you can land.")
There is fine print on the back of the card indicating that the item is not guaranteed to work, the manufacturer cannot be held liable or responsible for results, and the warranty implied or otherwise is null and void should the item be used or in fact touched by the recipient virtually or physically. Furthermore they will deny all knowledge of the aforementioned item and initiate litigation for slander on your part should you even hint at having it. Sign here in blood, yours, please. (BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!)
Sorry, even with the pseudo-legobabble this post needed a little more evil overtones.
