Making a Short Fan Film in Salt Lake City

I know there are more than a few Browncoats in Utah, so I'm reaching out to see if any of you want to help with a short fan film we're making. My sister wants to play River Tam, but that's the only part we have nailed down at this point.

So, apparently people who can play in my fan film are quite limited. We have my sister playing River, and we have me. The question is, which part do I play?

Some feedback would be appreciated. Which character do I look more like? And which one would be best to pair with River?

Well, I'd say that depends on your story plot, and also maybe what you mean by paired up. Like, for a job? River and Jayne as a pair of mercenaries who don't trust each other would be fun. It'd also be fun to see an almost stop-motion "River and Wash stage a dinosaur battle royale across Serenity while waiting for the others," but that would probably be slightly more artsy and quirky than I imagine you're looking for.

You could also do something like one man Shakespeare, you could play all the guys, and your sister could play all the girls.

You might want to talk to Mike Doughtery, who is making Browncoats:Redemption at www.browncoatsmovie.com. I'm sure he'll be able to give you some guidance.
