Two words -- brain wash.
This week Hannity nearly cried when asked to explain why Palin quit as governor. Lots of stuttering.
Hannity is paid $20-million/year to lie to you, just for his radio show. Probably the same for his TV show. Pretty good tip for a bartender. Fox fired Colmes after his brain exploded.

Not at all. I googled 'Huffington lies' and posted some links from folk who did accuse Huffington of lies and bias, just like Huffington had accused Fox of lies and bias. My question was, "Each side says the other lies. Who can you believe?"

I take it from that statement that you read an awful lot of Huffington Post, so you have a wealth of experience upon which to base your assumptions.
Since I made no such statement, and no such assumptions...
Although I did look at the "Top Ten Fox Lies" segments on Huffington, which is what that thread was about.

They forced Palin out to undermine her 2012 run.
It's a shame, she should really have stayed and gotten more powerful allies. Being governor of Alaska during a great depression would be an excellent standpoint to run for president, since your state would look so much better than the rest of the nation.

Swung by the Fox News website the other day to check out EC's ( Sorry, Geezer's claim , not EC's-- they use the same photo of Robert Heinlein in their sig. My bad.) claim that they didn't use "Sarah" so much.
There it was on their home page, their big lead story about health care: " Joe Sez No". Leiberman, of course...

Again with the "they" nonsense. Unless you can specifically name names and show evidence, this is just so much speculation and hearsay, and as such, is no more valid than any other OPINION.
WHO "forced her" to quit her governorship? Was it the same THEY who FORCED her to abuse her power in having her ex-bro-in-law fired?
This is pretty much like claiming that "they" collapsed the financial sector just to make Obama look bad in 2012.
Sorry, but I tire of hearing everything get attributed to "they" and "them".

Geezer: Nope, not buying into propaganda. Deciding from actual clips I’ve seen of Faux Noise offered elsewhere than the station themselves. They speak for themselves.
DT, you misunderstood. I said Quote:
Was agreeing with you that the use of her name wasn’t out of line.
DT, I never said what you wrote was "out of line". I just disagreed with it.
Dammitall, I’ forced to agree with PN, for perhaps the first (and last) time in history:Quote:
As I said, too, that’s about it for me as to why Faux Noise people are what they are, say what they do, and propound what they propound.
Hannity is paid $20-million/year to lie to you, just for his radio show. Probably the same for his TV show.
Mike, I disagree with your snarks at Geezer, just on the basis that what he may have read of Huff Post would show him their bias as easily as the clips I’ve seen of ClusterFox. The biases of some sites/writings/etc., are far too easy to discern; Huff and Fox Noise are two prime examples.
DT: I don’t believe Quote:
She’s shown herself throughout her history as being a strong person who does what the hell she wants; also, according to some, of liking prestige more than she likes the work required to deserve it. I think she quit to make money, pure and simple (which she’s dong by the bucketload) She panders to the base to enhance her popularity, ergo her monetary value, as I see it, and is a good showman. Not much else, to me.
They forced Palin out to undermine her 2012 run
And I, too, am curious as to who this “they” is. Do you mean the democrats, or the republicans (party bosses, or those in her own state government, or who? I don’t deny your belief, am just confused as to exactly who you mean “they” are. Also would like to know how you arrived at this result, what resources you found to make you believe it.

Actually, you DIDN'T point it out, except that you TRIED to claim that HuffPost lies (or that OTHER people SAY they lie, which is nothing but you hiding behind their claims, which is more sophistry on your part), but then you refused to offer any evidence to back that assertion, while others quite clearly DID bring ample evidence (and there's been even more since that discussion) of Fox's repeated lies.
So what do you base your propagandistic claims that *everyone* lies on, if you have nothing to back those claims?

Mike
Sorry, I try to avoid "they"
I'm not sure,.. . Dem/Rep Party aka TPTB.
The GOP wanted her gone as much as the dems, so there wasn't a lot, but Sarah was clearly cornered. She lacked a good power network. Most gov's do. I think you really have to go all Vlad Putin to hold onto power against the tides of TPTB

Isn't it kind of contrary to make a flat statement that someone forced Palin out when you don't even know whether you mean the Repubs, Dems, or someone else? Kinda contradicts the concept of "logical deduction", to me. I could be wrong.

See the pot call the kettle black.
Mike, maybe this is just another attempt to change the subject. It could be that you just fail to comprehend what other folk write. Or it is possible that you are so caught up in your world of snark that you just don't care. In either case, it would once again be time for me to ignore such juvenile word games and just respond to those who actually want to stay on topic.
