I would like to second that Felicia Day recommendation.

I caught Glee last week and it was actually pretty funny, what with the feminazi trying to take over and all!

There's plenty of people and things for Joss to play with on this show, and hopefully create something special.

This is lame, terrible news. Why the frak is Joss wasting his time with such a piece of crap singing/attempted comedy hybrid? This show just pisses me off, and now its ruining joss.

Ummmm... yeah. *THIS* is the show that's "ruining Joss". Maybe he just wants to have some damn FUN - lord knows Dollhouse ain't no fun at all!

By the way, you DO know that Joss is just crazy for musicals, right? "Glee" seems right up his alley, really.

It really is a nice fit for him. He's directed The Office twice, but that has a different vibe. Glee though is a lot like his Buffy take on High School minus the hellmouth. An ensemble cast representing a motley crew of kids on the bottom of the social food chain banding together. Satire galore, dark humor, plenty of quirky dialog and on top of it all they sing?

And we all know Sue Sylvester could have easily been a Big Bad. The demon Cheerleader coach!

WTF is Glee? Everyone here seems to watch it or know an awful lot about it, and I've never even heard of it. Granted, I don't have time for a lot of TV, but I do see and hear discussions of various shows, even if I never watch them, so this feels like it's sprung fully-formed from someone's forehead or something.

The last five episodes are on Hulu, so you can pretty much watch them at your leisure. I LOVE the show. It actually has a very Whedon-esque quirkiness with some dark edges.

And, as mentioned, Joss is a huge musical fan (Dr Horrible, Buffy Musical Episode, etc) and has done some incredible work in that area. GLEE is a perfect fit. I was really hooked on the series, but the last episode showed some signs of weariness which I hope was only temporary.

I actually don't even own a TV, I get all my new media from online sources.

Glee is my fave new show this season. Laugh-out-loud funny, which, for me, is hard to come by. Quirky and dark mixed with the sublimely ridiculous, all set to great music. Apparently they're going to to a Madonna-centric epi - she gave the show's producers permission to use her whole catalogue.

It airs Wednesdays, 9pm, on Fox (and Global in Canada).

And I second the call for Terry to die! Like Emma much, much better
