The Firefly art was meant to be reduced in size to fit T206 cards, which measure 1-7/16" x 2-5/8", as shown below.

This are really cool. Are all the cards eventually going to have the character names on them? any idea when a file of the complete set will be available? Really looking forward to printing these out.

Adding names makes these look more like old-fashion baseball trading cards. Mike Dalton intended to make only 10 pictures, printed the same size as T206 tobacco cards. A hundred years ago, tiny 1-7/16" x 2-5/8" pictures of baseball players were put into cigarette packs as prizes. Weren't people in the old days easy to manipulate with pictures of celebrities? But I'd start smoking two packs a day if R. J. Reynolds put Firefly pictures into Winstons. I want a Badger, a Niska, a Patience, and a Crow trading card. And a pair of Dodsons, with one or two eyes. And Saffron, both the hillbilly version and the sophisticated seductress. And the Operative! And the Hands of Blue Guys!! And also . . .

It would be sooooo epic if there was an actual licensed Firefly trading card game.

There are actual trading cards.... but as far as I'm aware they don't form any sort of game, just collectable.

You might be able to buy the originals from Mike Dalton, a professional artist. Mike Dalton is Browncoat “mkdltn” http://fireflyfans.net/showprofile.asp?un=mkdltn

Below is a small scale preview of the official version, 2550×3300, available at http://mdalton.deviantart.com/art/Firefly-card-sheet-191065773
The short cut to saving the FULL SIZE version of the picture, showing all the details, is to right click and save this link: http://tinyurl.com/2gyhjxw
When printed Original Size (from image of 300 DPI), each hero's picture is 1-7/16" x 2-5/8".

Oh! Sorry, I should have made myself more clear!
I was refering to the 'mass produced' versions.... the ones made by Inkworks in 2006?
Those are the only ones I know of available to buy, and there aren't many- so I think its great fans are making their own! :)
