I heard from somewhere (probably here) that Joss took the cast's ages (and b-days?) just to match with with their character.
So I'm guessing, Feb 27, 2477.

As you know, I posted this on the official Firefly board, where I read A.B.s response to a birthday thread there.

In it he said he'd had a lovely day including a looong mountain-bike ride, bowling with the kids and cake, and that he had spent part of the day re-reading the movie script.

I'm thinking no one is going to spend part of their birthday reading a movie script thats not going to get made!!!

I saw his post to Serena, and his mention of "re-reading the movie script" gave me a little rush of excitement.

Here is the text of the post:

Thanks kid. It was the best day ever. Perfect weather. LOOONG mountain-bike ride. Re-reading the movie script! Bowling with the kids... And CAKE!!!

Thanks for the sentiment and the thread Stace/All...

Serenity,

A.B.

p.s. You did mean to write "memorable" didn't you? "Memorial" just sounds a tad morbid and creepifying in a birthday post. ;- )
