Swayze had an everyman quality about him and that's why everyone liked him.
One of the greatest skits ever on SNL was Swayze & Chris Farley auditioning for a job at Chippendales. If you never saw it, here it is...enjoy!

I am so sad he's gone, what a waste! He could dance like no bodys business and too many of you men won't even try. I loved him, he was a good man, and his films like you all have said were excellant, even "to Won Fo..." It was because of that film that I watched "Pracillia(sp), Queen of the Dessert"
My faves are "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost",...so long Patrick, teach the Angles to dance like you!

Nobody puts Baby in a corner.
DD and Ghost among my favs, also Roadhouse. He was a man's man who had a great sense of himself and humor. I always got the feeling he never took himself too seriously.
He could do it all, sing, dance, act. That SNL skit was one of my favs.
He will be missed, Rest in Peace Patrick.
