That one definitely has different settings. I hit the penguin at a low enough angle to keep it on the screen, and it still face-planted in the snow.

Small differences, yes. What Justdavid said, plus the hitthepenguin.swf link you provided just now is faster on my machine, and I can only hit the penguin about 1/3 as far.
