Lets make a Stargate Atlantis board!

...

What? Jewel was on that show!

Seriously though, Castle is a damn good show, but does it deserve it's own board? How about changing the "Other Science Fiction" thread to "Other TV and Movies"? That way there'll be a place to stick all the threads about TV and Movies the BDH's are in that aren't Scifi.

Hmmm...yeah, that's probably the plan at this point until Serenity or Firefly come back around. Otherwise, there's not much to report to keep the fandom going. At least this way, we can sort of keep track of everyone that was associated with Firefly and see how far the rabbit hole goes.

Having said that, I added both Caprica and V today.

V the series because Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk are both in it.

'Caprica' because Jane Espenson (Dollhouse, True Calling, Buffy) and Drew Greenberg (Buffy) are writing for it.

and maybe Alien Nation in the future, because Tim Minear is running it.

Should Summer Glau end up somewhere in the Fall besides Dollhouse, we'll follow her too.

Heh heh...2 more have made the list, I see.

I'm all for promoting the BDH's, or all things Joss, et al. It just seems that FFF.NET is edging towards a 6 degrees approach to these shows, which is some what different.

Haken, is this because you've resigned yourself to the fact we are addicted to this site and are reluctant to move over to Shiny Universe?

No, not really.

Shiny Universe was meant for everything else that I was watching that I thought other people might be watching too, which is why it had series like Primeval, Legend of the Seeker, Leverage, Merlin, Demons, Torchwood, etc. and a couple of Anime like Naruto and Bleach, plus some really off the chart stuff like the martial movies, etc..

Work on Shiny Universe continues regardless whether anyone visits there or not. The underlying engine and CMS that drives the site is an ongoing project that I can draw from and reuse elsewhere on other side projects that I may have.

Anyway, going back to FFF.NET, news items on those that were associated with Firefly will pop up on the site regardless of whether I create forums for them or not. As such, I might as well have individual forums for each to lessen the clutter. Otherwise everything will just fall into General Discussions or Other Science Fiction Series.

Besides, it's good to see that many of the original cast members and writers for Firefly is doing well, which as fans of the series, is what we should want because by them being really successful, should any of them want to make a Serenity 2 or bring Firefly back, it'll be a whole lot easier.

Having said that, here's a quick rundown of where everyone is at these days:

Nathan Fillion - Castle, Halo 3: ODST.

Gina Torres - Don't Let Me Drown, Applause for Miss E, Washington Field.

Alan Tudyk - Dollhouse, Trucker & Dale vs. Evil, V, Halo 3: ODST.

Morena Baccarin - Stolen Lives, The Deep End, V.

Adam Baldwin - Chuck, Little Fish Strange Pond, The Assignment, Halo 3: ODST.

Jewel Staite - Stargate: Atlantis, Stargate: Extinction.

Sean Mahler - Drop Dead Diva.

Ron Glass - Death at a Funeral.

Christina Hendricks - Life, Leonie.

Mark Sheppard - Dollhouse, Warehouse 13.

Interesting that Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk and Adam Baldwin were all in Halo: 3 ODST. They should have renamed the game to Firefly.

Atlantis has been canceled, but I guess Extinction will be the first of the proposed direct-to-dvd features.

Life has also been canceled, but she is one of the main characters on Mad Men, which will start up again in August. Great show!
