oh noes...*fixes A/C at MsA's work pronto* I feel your pain, the A/C seems to work in every building on base.....except mine @_@ and none of the windows in our section open, so we're stuck with these tiny oscillating fans that don't do much unless you're standing right in front of them. it's great.

Well you could read Twilight or just swipe a dim witted, overly emotional, slightly unstable 14 year old girls journal.. it's basically the same damn thing...

lol, well see, im on another forum and one of the threads is a 'what have you read?' type thread, where we recommend books n such, so i've read all the twilight books XD as i said, everything merits reading once, and when it comes to series, i hate starting a series and not finishing it, no matter what it is or how horrible it is. *shrugs*

but as i said, everything merits reading once, and yes, i have read some absolutely horrible books under that theory, but you never know if u don't read, do you? ^_^

Yeah, just throw in some vamps/weres and tweak them a bit..

You have to wonder how these ever got published, or how in the world it's become such a fad.. A dangerous fad, too, because every time some girl is going all gaga over Edward (which a couple of my classmates do, UGH >.<) my fingers itch for a weapon of some sort...

lol my mom suggested Twilight to me a while back. Not that it inspired me to actually read them. I'm pretty sure she thinks "vampires? well he liked that buffy show...so same thing". She did the same with Harry Potter. Well you like Lord of the Rings and this has magic. Silly parents.

But Harry Potter is better writtent hant Lord of the Rings ... so really you should read it:)

Yeah I love the parent generalizing... you like Sci Fi ( which means you must like anything with Sci Fi in it)

Eh you gotta give the classics some leeway on their writing. English was still in its infancy in J. R. R. Tolkein's time.

I got dragged to two Harry Potter movies I think and the thing I just don't like about them is magic can solve anything. What's the point of having a plot if you can just magic anything away? I think the first one I saw they just used time travel to save the day at the end. Time travel pssh.
