I'll continue to watch it, but, honestly, I was hoping Fox would take this opportunity to realize what a mistake it was to cancel Firefly and get the group back together. Oh well ... I am happy about Castle. I've never watched any police shows, and I only tried it because of Nathan. And he's great in it!

I'm glad both those shows got renewed. Castle is great just because of the chemistry with Nathan and Stana Katic.
It's good that Dollhouse will get another chance, I thought it was just starting to hit it's stride. And now they have some time to go to the drawing board a little bit. Find what worked, what didn't, get a better advertising plan, a better night to air, and maybe all will be well.

Whilst I am happy for Joss that Dollhouse got renewed it just adds to my perplexion as to Firefly. Dollhouse is nothing in comparison to Firefly yet it gets renewed...

Yes. I'm expecting the announcement of Serenity 2, after a double dose of Serenity on TV in 2 days. Star Trek only lasted one season too, and it was marketed as a "space western".

Because like Joss he knew that if he told them what it was really going to be about the stupid executives wouldn't have green lit it. Better a small crap concept they could understand like "Wagon Train to the stars".
But today, they better renew Chuck for another 40 episodes.
