I heard two possible shout-outs, though they were both fairly circumstantial, and could easily have been unintentional for that interpretation. Using spoiler tags, could you explain the one(s) you mean?

I heard "a special level of Hell" but that could just as easily be referencing Dante's Inferno. I also heard "Shiny!" when Wolverine was checking out his new claws, but... they are in fact rather shiny in a literal sense.

Oh, and this topic should probably be moved to the Other Sci-Fi thread area.
