Last night I was watching "Out of Gas" on hulu.com, and while Mal vented the fire from the ship I noticed that one of the boxes to the right was white with black blotches much like a Holstein pattern or that of a Gateway box. Do you think that was an intentional homage to Gateway?

I had not noticed that, but I'm sure gonna go back and take a special look. My first PC was a Gateway...back in the days when you would actually look people in the eye and say, "I got a Gateway!" And they would look back and say, "Ooh - good job! Can I touch you...?"

I can still remember the UPS guy, rolling all those moo-cow themed boxes out of his truck...m-e-e-e...mor...ies...

On some worlds, with snow and black rock or tree, that could be camouflage - was it pilfered from military sources perhaps? These are thieves, ya know.

I was surprised to find out that Gateway Computers are still around! I thought they went belly-up.
