Guy, I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to everyone after the request for 'happy thoughts' and prayers.

The request was because of a rather important engagement my friends and I over here in Afghanistan had to keep. There was a great deal involved and I made the request because I honestly felt that I would be at greater risk than have ever been since I got to this country. . .and if I would be at risk, in my little ceramic/kevlar cocoon up in the sky, then I knew the Special Forces and Infantry guys that I was there to protect would be in serious danger.

We were told that the party we were going to be crashing would have some VERY important guests. . .maybe not the BIG 'guest of honor' here in Afghanistan, but certainly some of his best friends would be there.

That's about as much as I can get away with telling anyone other than to give you a very vauge, "Everything went well" sort of message.

Everything went well.

Once again, I am deeply grateful for your prayers and thoughts.

I will, in fact, keep flying. . .and I'll make sure they don't take the sky from any of us.

Thanks for letting us know, Static.
We've all been thinking about you, and missing your input. :)
