WIP: painting of River from Serenity

When I first saw the movie Serenity I thought the final scene with River and Mal would make a good painting. Subsequent viewings only affirmed my belief.

I finally had the time to give it a try.

Here is a picture of the progress. Entire panting is full frame (10"x20").



For some reason my ancient cammera makes the colors look somewhat harsh. Still, not too bad.
