Dollhouse Webisodes in Jeopardy?

I'm cross posting this from Shiny Universe.

According to Pie Spoilers, FOX Publicity has stated that it will concentrate primarily on the actual 13 episodes for the first season, which implies that the original webisodes that were announced five months ago by Joss may not happen at all.

The original plan from Joss was to produce a webisode for each episode aired. Joss said at the time "whether we pull that off remains to be seen." Apparently, at this point, with the series retooled and moved to Fridays, the likelihood of the webisodes is slim at best. I suppose it all depends on whether Dollhouse does well in the ratings.

Yes, I'm going to wait untill the show is in danger untill I'm going to panic. What are you guy's going to do and say if it's a hit? You've got it canceled before it's even on.

I believe they're preparing for the worst. And I suppose I can't blame them. Eli Stone just got canceled for god's sake. That show was awesome. So was Drive. And Kitchen Confidential. And the list of course, does go on.

Now I'm not 'preparing' for it to be canceled, I'm simply on high alert, so that if something does happen, I can do everything in my power to stop it from being axed.

and since I live in Australia...that's often not much at all.

I can't believe Pushing Daisies & Eli Stone got canceled. Doesn't give me much hope for Castle either.

Eli Stone was in the 10pm Monday night slot as well.....

If either Castle or Dollhouse gets canceled, I'll be angry beyond words.
If both get canceled, I'll be forced to put my fist through a wall.
I've been waiting too long for both these shows for F*x or ABC to mess it up. Not to mention that Castle debuts on my birthday! :)
Now I'm a completely heterosexual male, but I can't think of anything I'd like more on my birthday than more Capt. Tightpants.

...except maybe a certain ship's mechanic...

Castle debuts on by Birthday too! Pisces Rock!

Tough times for most TV shows. Seems like a lot of networks are quick to drop the show if it doesn't draw the right numbers right away.

I loved Drive. Canceling the show after only 2 weeks was complete BS!

NBC almost canceled Chuck last year. I'm so happy that show is still on. This season is even funnier then last year.

And yeah for Captian tight pants being back on TV!!

Well hopefully everyone will realise how shiny Dollhouse and Castle are (I assume that both will be amazing...)

in the meantime, I'm going to hunt down all the 2 Guys and a Girl episodes with Nathan in, as well as "Outing Riley".
(Anyone know which seasons of 2G+G I need to get? it looks like 2 onward...so I might just go get them all...)

It now seems to be just me and BlackCatLady talking...

well..the point is... Dollhouse will be awesome... Castle will be awesome.... and if Joss trusts Fox again, hopefully all is well, and we'll see lots of Dollhouse before the end. And ABC recently gave new life to Scrubs, and are taking it back to it's (much better) roots, so hopefully Castle will be alright there too.

And all will be well...

Hopefully that show will return to its (even better) roots. **sigh** Flasing forward & backward was just too confussing.

We were all hoping to see you on LOST again as well. I mean, no reason Kevin can't just drop out of a plan onto the same island & take Kate away from the Tom & Sawyer love triangle
