Recurring character preferences?

I wouldn't doubt it. After all, having that nice view of Persephone from space is something else.

Oddly enough, I'd like to see the Alliance commander from Bushwacked again. I liked him. He tries to let Mal off the hook with "Any chance they could have stowed away? Nobody would blame you for that, Captain." He's also funny when questioning the crew. And he's not a pansy, right out there in front with his troops.

It would be interesting if there was at least one "good" Alliance commander. Not a friend of Serenity so much as a noble adversary, somebody who finds themselves on opposite sides of the law because of a difference of viewpoint, not a difference of values.

There are so many good characters I would like to see as recurring personalities.

Niska - Who would not want to see this little slimeball meet the "real" Malcolm Reynolds? I would like to see him at least once more so Mal can end him.

Saffron - I would like to see her return and see how she coped w/ being locked in a dumpster for awhile by Inara. I am sure she could easily come up w/ another mess to get our big damn heroes into for the movie or a renewed series.

Badger - I would like to see Badger come back to employ our favorite crew for some under the radar smuggling. He makes a great little underworld wannabe.

Jubal Early - He is just too whacky to not come back at some point. His character does not seem likely to give up very easily, so I would think he would show up again at some point, but most likely not in the movie.

I agree - I think it's a good part of Firefly that the Alliance aren't all portrayed to be corrupt or evil in some way. That these are real people trying to do good, from their own viewpoint.
