I think Zoe is just busy being terse, and Wash is just trying to find things to do on the bridge, so as to avoid the shouting... LOL

I think if Damon doesn't tell someone his name soon, Mal might shoot him...

Seriously, I'll post for them both a little later. How am I doing with Wash, BTW?

You're writing very well for Wash, I think. I think those who claim Zoe as their favorite character would write Wash well and vice versa because they *GET* Wash and Zoe.

Maybe Damon needs to get shot...oh no, wait, he already has been, hasn't he? Right! My bad!

That's kind of what brought it to mind. I can see her talking with him, then setting up the holo-billiards in the kitchen later on when she thinks Mal is likely asleep. I'm starting to get the idea that she may be an insomniac, due to the constant state of being on her guard. Borderline paranoia.

Yay! A reader is interested in my story idea! What a great thing to read when I logged on today. Glad to know that there actually are other people reading our little dramedy.

Astriana--I think you're doing a great job with Wash! I agree with Channain, in that someone playing Zoe would be able to write for Wash, as they GET the two of them together. Keep up the good work!

Hey all, I just got caught up on the OOC talk.

Ciara, I'd love to see Damon's run-in with Inara too... if he's not shot, or thrown out the air lock or in a holding cell
He seems to have gotten himself in trouble again... though he wasn't looking for it, and I wasn't planning on it. He's had a bad day and Mal came down in a bad mood... not a good mix. anyway, I can't wait to see how this turns out.

It's a good character contention within Mal that he always thinks things through, and he has a basic humanity that he tries to avoid but can't... that's why he let Simon and River stay. He may huff and puff for a while, but I would hope that he lets you stay as well. It wouldn't seem like Mal if he didn't.
