Zoe Vest for Costume

I've decided to work again on my Zoe costume after seeing so few Zoe's at Dragon Con.

I have a necklace (purchased last year from Jetflair's jewelry site) pants, shirt and boots. What I need now is a vest.

I can't afford real leather but I've found a very leather like vinyl at at a local sewing store so all I need is a pattern.

If any one has access to one or a link to a reasonably priced vest please let me know.
