My idea for a character costume

I think that I would want to come to a convention someday and come dressed as if I were in the 'verse, but if I did I would want to be somewhat unique. My first instinct would be to come dressed as a purple belly, but if I were dress in civilian clothing I would want it to be a cool pants/suspenders combination much like Mal’s except without the stripes, maybe some boots like his or slightly different and for a shirt I would want one like Gillom Rogers of the movie the Shootist. I think a duster of some sort would be appropriate and I do like brown, but to be original I think I would want to get a green duster. I don’t know what I would carry as a firearm to the convention or if I would simply wear a holster and leave it empty because different regions have different regulations regarding handguns real or fake.

When i first read this i thought it said you wanted to go dressed as if you were the 'verse. Which i have to say i think would be pretty cool. Like... a massive black dress with spots as planets and stuff? Ahh...

Sorry for the miscommunication. I would really like to go as a purple belly, but if I couldn't afford the armor then maybe dress up as my own character, or maybe the sheriff from the "Train Job."

I saw lots of people at D*C with fan t-shirts (including me) and jeans/shorts. It was hot and the only time I dressed was for the "Mighty Fine Shindig".

While it's lots of fun to dress up be prepared for people to ask to take your picture if you do.
