The last one "Hamsters is nice" was meant to be my sig line. It's a Kaylee, not a Simon.

"Hamsters is nice"

Greatest Simon line (and moment):

No Mei-mei, it's time to wake up.

And who can forget:

He's like a trained ape...without the training.

Those who restrain desire, do so because theirs is weak enough to be restrained.

"No mei mei, it's time to wake up."

"Dear diary, today I was arrogant and my sister was crazy..."

And there's the talk he gives to Jayne after he finds out he almost sold him and River out... very defining of his character.

May not always be right, but I'm right now.

Ah! Thank you! I was going through everything I could remember, and reading all the replies here, and nothing seemed...right. Not sure just what he says to Jayne, but I think something there might work. Gotta check out that scene, soon as I get disc 3 back.

Is there a script anywhere available?

Ah Teela ... we are still on the same frequency!

I love the monologue in 'Trash' as Jayne is strapped to the exam bed and 'neuralized'. You think it is going one direction, then it is revealed the depth of Simon's dedication and honor. He may have been a bit of a dandy, but it seems he has sure has gained (grudgingly, of course) Jayne's respect.

Capn, we'll always be on the same frequency! (Or at least mostly...)

Could you, or anyone else, maybe give me, or point me in the direction of, a transcript of that monolog? As I mentioned, disk 3 is not with me presently...

Thanks,
-Steve

SIMON: You're in a dangerous line of work, Jayne. Odds are, you'll be under my knife again. . .often. So I want you to understand one thing very clearly. No matter what you do. . .or say. . .or plot. . .no matter how you come down on us. . .I will never, ever harm you. You're on this table, you're safe. 'Cause I'm your medic. And however little we may like or trust each other. . .we're on the same crew. We've got the same troubles. . .same enemies and more than enough of both. Now, we could circle each other and growl, sleep with one eye open, but that thought wearies me. I don't care what you've done. . .I don't know what you're planning on doing, but I'm trusting you. I think you should do the same. Because I don't see this working any other way.

RIVER: Also. . .I can kill you with my brain.

Well . . .my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.
