Yeah. I liked 12 Angry Men. Dunno why. Saw it when I was in my early 20's when I still had an aversion to black and white movies too. Didn't watch it with anybody else. I remember I watched it on TCM alone in my gram's basement. Maybe because I'd already been in court a few times myself I enjoyed it.

Good for you on the drugs and booze. Never got too wild with my experimentation, but the few things I did, I did way too much of. Glad the cocaine didn't stick. I loved cocaine the half-dozen times I tried it. But the problem was I couldn't come down and I'd be up 2 days straight, and of course, I'm so cheap that I would never buy that on my own. I only did it on special occasions where somebody else had it and was feeling especially generous.

I grew up watching The Best of Saturday Night on Nick at Night with the old man and my brothers too, so I know what you mean. I don't think the cast ever came close to the original few years until the Farley/Sandler/Hartman/Spade/Meyers days. Probably hasn't been that funny since. I thought it was still funny when Will Ferell was on, but I barely watched it at that point and I haven't paid attention since.

I think the funny thing about that show is whatever age you were around high school is probably going to be your favorite seasons of SNL. I bet there are people somewhere between you and I who would say that the Joe Piscapo days were the best.

I remember kind of hating the 2nd season the first time around on War of the Worlds, but when I watched it in my late 20's I actually liked the 2nd season a lot more than the first.

I had a huge crush on the girl in that show at the time. I can't remember her name now. I remember never seeing her again until I went to the theater with my brother and his friends to see Snakes on a Plane and couldn't believe she was in it. I hadn't seen her in 15 years or so, but I just knew that was her. She was quite a looker when she grew up. Hope she did something nice with her life. I don't think the acting career panned out for her.

I must have seen 12 Angry Men on tv and I had sort of grown up with black and white movies. My parents liked John Wayne and a lot of his stuff is black and white.

Yup. Never did any of that stuff. Course alcohol and people like me doesn't mix. I have a friend who I HOPE has given up smoking after having open heart surgery and then a stroke a couple of years ago.

Don't know if I was watching repeats or not but yeah what I watched of SNL was original crew. Loved Gilda Radner's Miss Litela and her, "Never mind". I saw pieces of the Church Lady but no.

I like Richard Chaves as Colonel Ironhorse in War of the Worlds and I just found it interesting after hearing part of the radio show that was done in the '30s and freaked everyone out. Adrian Paul and another actor worked on the show before Highlander the tv series.
