Not sure what the Browncoat attitude should be to honours, medals, kings and queens and so on, but Chiwetel Ejiofor is now an Operative of the British Empire!

...as is Russel T. Davies (the man behind the relaunch of Dr Who).

See: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7453476.stm

You have to scroll down to the bottom - the BBC are clearly more interested in the soap stars and TV presenters who non-Brits probably haven't heard of.

Not sure which particular achievement Ejiofor is being honoured for, we'll just have to wait and see if - when the Queen taps him on the shoulder with her sword* - she asks "Do you know what your sin is?"

(* Its a JOKE - thank you for not stickling about actual details regarding the ceremonial details of various types of honour!)

His sin was marrying Keira Knightly in the movie Love, Actually
Sorry, I just didn't buy those two as a couple, don't ask me why.

And I really liked the rest of the movie, it is good for couples of all stages and cheeky ta boot....

Oh and ImNotHere, love that particular visual of the Queen!

This is what happens when I don't read the papers ...
