Firefly Newbie - Little Help?

My friend has been raving about Firefly since I can remember. Anyway, I found it on sale and decided to buy it.

But I'm getting ready to watch it and the air dates and the titles are all out of order.

It lists Serenity Pts. 1 &2 as the first episode(s) on Disc one, but the date says it was the last episode to air.

Then it has the Train Job listed under it, and the date indicated this is the pilot?

I'm so confused. Do I watch them in order according to title? Or skip around according to air date?

Watch them in the order presented on the DVD's.

The search is complicated by there being so many of these threads , but the consensus is what 'Chris' said...

There is some debate about whether to watch Objects in Space , or The Message , last...

If it was my choice , I'd watch Objects in Space LAST...

Seems more hopeful , that way...

OMG, you guys are awesome!

I've watched parts 1 & 2 of Serenity and The Train Job. I'm planning on watching at least two more eps. before I go to bed.

This show is freakin' amazing.
