Manual mornin' stats VOMP!

Well, weekends are now gonna be even worse than they had been, but yesterday saw a modest recovery from Saturday's numbers, so there's hope for more improvement.

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote

http://www.richlabonte.net/tvvote

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html

ALL three links work for voting, so if you have trouble, you can try an alternate address instead.

You can vote for more as many Top 40 shows as you like, once every hour. You can only nominate one show per hour, at:

http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/nominations.html

Download the FlyVote voting timer, a NEW version of the program. It'll remind you when it's time to vote, each hour: http://usbmicro.com/misc

Votes are counted per network IP, so, don't go to the library or your office and vote hourly on each computer on the subnet, or all votes will be thrown out; multiple votes on rotating IPs will likewise be rejected.

Top two shows as of this morning:

(Statistics in parentheses are previous day's stats, for comparison purposes)

Total votes Firefly: 654,364 (653,536)

Yesterday, Browncoats voted 828 (766) times, 62 more than the previous day. Better, but not yet where we want to be.

Total votes Xena: 513,861 (513,359)

Yesterday, Xenites voted 502 (448) times, 54 more than the previous day.

(Xenites voted 326 (318) times fewer than Browncoats, yesterday.)

Firefly is 140,503 (140,177) votes ahead of Xena, more than the vote total of #22 show Star Trek: Voyager 129,129. That puts us at 9,497 (9,823) votes away from a 150,000 vote lead, about 29.13 (30.89) days, based on current voting.

We'll get our next banner, for 655,000 votes, in another 636 (1,464) votes, and .77 (1.91) days! Look for it tomorrow!

Our next, big goal, 675,000 votes, is 20,636 (21,464) votes, and, 24.92 (28.02) days away!

7,091,802 (7,080,992) Top 40 votes have been counted as of 05/19/08. Yesterday, 10,810 (10,348) votes were cast. Our share fell to 9.2270491% (9.2294413%) of all votes ever cast. Our share of the voting pie remains at 9%.

In other TV Vote news (shows whose voters also support Firefly and the Whedonverse, so, let's return the favor, shiny? Browncoats never leave a friend behind!):

#5 show Battlestar Galactica got 487 (438) votes, and, is currently receiving enough votes to overtake #4 show, Gunsmoke, which got 268 (282) votes, yesterday, in 101.57 (143.99) days.

#7 show Buffy the Vampire Slayer got 436 (445) votes, yesterday. Currently, Buffy is receiving enough votes to pass #6 show Farscape, which received 368 (309) votes, yesterday, in 61.54 (31.27) days. Buffy is also in pursuit of the 6th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 11,111 (11,547) votes, and 25.48 (25.95) days, away, while Farscape is 18.82 (23.61) days from getting there.

Buffy has fallen far behind in the Hall of Fame race! She needs your help to get ahead!

#11 show Angel got 392 (385) votes, yesterday, receiving enough votes to pass #10 show Combat!, which received 370 (340) votes, in 135.91 (66.93) days.

Within the context of the Poll, Angel is stuck where he is, without your help!

#15 show Babylon 5 got 342 (328) votes, yesterday, and, is on track to pass #14 show Stargate SG-1, which got 247 (241) votes, in 27.95 (31.61) days. Congratulations to the Babylonians on their stand-alone banner, today!

#28 show Dark Shadows got 296 (290) votes, yesterday, receiving enough votes to to pass #27 show Stargate Atlantis, which got 249 (234) votes, in 24.36 (21.29) days.

#41 show (#1 in the Nominations Poll) Blood Ties got 362 (388) votes, yesterday, and is on track to pass #40 show Cleopatra 2525, which got 148 (137) votes, in 21.35 (19.05) days.

#44 show (#4 in the Nominations Poll) Moonlight got 338 (341) votes, yesterday, and is on track to pass #43 show The Professionals, which got 116 (85) votes, yesterday, in 46.36 (41.07) days.

Had to buy a locking gas cap over the weekend vump. Thieving stole 5 gallons from my truck. I'm thinking paintball gun and/or potato cannon. Maybe an air gun loaded with salt pellets vump.

Ahhh, FlatTop - as gasoline climbs to $4/gallon I imagine we will ALL have to have locking gas caps! Now to see if I can get all my errands done in 60 minutes!

Chain a wolverine (the animal, not the mutant) to your vehicle, FT. If you get lotsa thievin' visitors, you can even save on the wolverine chow!

Sage advice VOMP!

Not that /I/ would ever do such a thing :angelic emoteicon:, but I remember someone being taught not to tip cows by a farmer who had loaded his shotgun with rock salt .
From back in the day when a boy wouldn't dare tell his father it had happened because dad would have whipped him & then made him go appologise & clean the farmers gun vump.

Maybe a paintball gun?

Not a vump...

Wolverine is the name of a character from the X-Men (comics and movies). He is an ill-tempered mutant superhero. The animal his name comes from is also ill-tempered, but it exists, and FT would never chain one to his ride, being a kind soul who wouldn't do that to a critter.
