I don't know where they found the guy that played Bester, but he was a hoot & a half. Kinda feel bad he wasn't in more of the show- he really was very good, wasn't he?

I think part of what made Bester so great was we didn't see much of him at all. He could have turned out to be a poor character.... though seriously I doubt it. He was a great character. I hope we see more of him in the comics sometime. Or somewhere. Maybe if there's a new show set in the 'verse... someday.

Yeah, he really wasn't the "genius mechanic" was he? I suspect if he had stayed onboard, the "Out of Gas" episode would have been a result of his forgetting to fuel up at the last stop.

I just really liked the actor...cracks me up every time. Lookin' at his tats, I wonder if they trolled the beach, and grabbed the first actor-surfer-dude that could say "Shiny" just right, LOL.
