Shoppin! I hate Shoppin! (Turns back to merchant)
I don't want ruttin twelve! I need six! Not Twelve but, six! (sighs) Gonna need me a drink after this. Shoppin is for women folk.

**Kat and El hand off into town for a drink and maybes a little brawl. They are both glad to get a bit of R&R after what seems to have been a long haul.**
Kat: So where's this bar, then? (looking at the increasingly crowded, dirty streets) You sure know how to show a girl the pretty places!
El: Not too far now. You gonna like it. Good drink, bad regulars..! (El laughs at his own joke, feeling more relaxed at the thought of some quality drinking time with Kat).

(Oreo finally pays for the twelve roses and leaves but notices some errie looking folks heading into a bar so here follows them in)
(Talking to himself)
wonder what sum half way decent type folk like ya'll doin in a place like this.
Turns and notices Kat and El sitting at table together.)
Gorramnit! (As Oreo ducks under a table and tries to move bout without KAt and El seeing him) outta all the ruttin bars, why this one! Can't let them see me.Kat already hate me enough.
(As he's crawling around the floor trying to keep up with the strangers Oreo thinks to himself)
Wonder what they're talking about. Hate to have to kill El if he tells Kat that she's my sister.
Maybe i should give him the benefit of the doubt. Booze and secrets, not a good mix. This ain't gonna end well, I jus know it.

**Kat and El are relaxing and doing justice to a big bottle of shine, seemingly straight from the still**
Kat:(taking a big chug of shine) Whow! That really hits the spot! (tears form in her eyes as the rough liquor burns its way down). Yep! That's about as rough as it gets!
**El watches her drinking, thinking he appreciates a woman who doesn't mind a rough drink in a rougher bar**
Kat: So El, how comes you ended up on a boat like Tranquility, then? Would've thought a man like you would've been on one of them big fancy boats or something. What's your big secret?
**Kat smiles, puts her head on her hands and waits**
El: Secrets? (he nearly chokes on his drink) Er, nothin', no secrets (he laughs to cover his confusion) Nah, I'm not one for the big outfits. Not my scene. (thinks how to change the subject) So, Shiny, then, she's a damn fine woman! She knows how to fix up a boat good.
Kat: (wondering why El is suddenly talking about Shiny - does he fancy Shiny or something?)
Yeah, she's real good. Pretty, too. Pays attention, you know? And a real nice person. Would do anything for a friend.(Thinking that El and Shiny might make a nice couple. And wondering why that doesn't really make a happy thought).
El: (wondering why Kat thinks Shiny is pretty - does she fancy Shiny? He's never thought that Kat was...but what did he know about her, really?)
Yeh, real pretty. Gonna get some chow. Pour us another drink..
**El heads off to the bar in search of food and some space to think, leaving Kat to get going on the drink again while she tries to sort out what's going on**

(Oreo notices El walking off and crawls after him and drags him under a table)
El: What are you doing here? Are you spying on us?
Oreo: huh...wha.. get your head straight boy. Followed me some strange folks in here and saw you too. Been crawlin around like a little bitty bug so's ya'll wouldn't see me.
El: So, what goin on?
Oreo: These guys don't look none to friendly, might wanna get yourself and Kat outta here.
(Pulls out gun and crawls away)
El: that guy ain't right, (sighs) alright, I'm gonna do it, i'm gonna tell her everything. She needs to know. (Turns and heads back to Kat thnking to himself)
Maybe once she knows everything, she can save me from Oreo, cuz he ain't gonna be happy

**Kat is starting to feel a bit buzzy from the shine. She takes another drink and looks out for El, who seems to have lost something under a table**
Probably dropped his food! She laughs to herself, happy to be there, happy to be drinking, letting her gaurd down a bit, going with the flow...

(Unknowing that EL is about to tell his secret to Kat, Oreo follows the strangers to a room in the back of the bar.)
(Oreo, talking to himself)
Gorramnit. Can hardly hear what there saying through this door. Only thing, i can make out is something about the alliance and...(oreo alomst falls over after he hears what one of the stangers says)
(Oreo Repeats it to himself)
Walker. They're after Walker too. Gotta Find the Capt'n
(Oreo takes off back out into the main area of the bar and right to Kat and El)
(Shouting)
Come On You two, we gotta get goin.
(Kat sits in horror at the site of Oreo turning up yet again at the wrong time)
What are you doing here?
(El is somewhat relieved at the sight of seeing oreo since he was just about to tell kat everything,but the next chance he gets alone with Kat, there will be no more secret? but,yet he can't help but wonder why he himself hasn't told her that she was his sister.)
What's going on Oreo? what ar you in such a rut for?
(Oreo grabs El by his shirt and practically picks him up off the floor)
No ruttin time to explain! Your man Walker might not be alive for much longer! We gotta find the Capt'n NOW!!!
(The three take off outta the bar in search of the capt'n)
(Oreo shouts back at Kat)
Kat, com shiny, see if the Cap is onboard.

**Kat sprints to catch up, sober now and working through the pieces of the puzzle, trying to cover the angles**

Gorramit! No Capt'n and I reckon until my pilot gets here we're stuck.
(Oreo rushes to a corner where his pack is and starts armoring his self)
Could be trouble, might wanna grab some extra gear.
(notices Kat lookin funny at him)
might wanna shake your head mei...(catches himself before he says mei-mei)...ah,Kat, your eyes are stuck.
(Kat stands in front of Oreo, with a angry bewilded look)
wha...what did you call me?
(Oreo pushes her back)
(El quickly places a knife at the throat of Oreo and jus as quickly Oreo has a gun pointed at El's Heart)
El: she needs to know. I know this isn't the time, but you gotta tell her, even if it cost me my life. You tell her. You owe it to her, don't you think.

**Kat is so angry, she could deck Oreo there and then. She has had her fill of him**
ENOUGH! We have a problem here, and we need cool heads and a plan. (She turns to Oreo) YOU, had better step back and stand down NOW.
(She turns to El) And YOU had better do the same. Cap'n isn't here which puts me in charge. NOW!
**She shouts as if they were raw recruits, flashing back in her head to other days, fighting for what she thought was right. She takes a deep breath as they stand down.**
Better. Ok, tell me what you know, let's get organised.
