*Once in the scrap yard Dashi sees mounds of various parts, wires, and otherwise, a veritable boneyard for ships of all kinds. Finding the appropriate part was going to be like the Earth That Was expression: Finding the Needle in the Haystack. However, Dashi intuitive sense led them to the appropriate pile. Standing before the heap she turned to the pair behind her, she pointed.
"Here" LT asked?
Dashi rose her eyebrow, curled her lip, and nodded.
"If you say so, or even if you don't actually say so."
Before long, he held up a compression coil, in relative good condition.

Captain and mechanic went back to the ship. They found their pilot entertaining his dinosaurs, which Dash still had not quite comprehended. However, seeing the enjoyment the man gained from the toys, it seemed out outweigh the foolishness of believing that the figures even remotely similar to their model. As LT headed back to his bunk, Dashi remained behind watching Larry.
One of the figures fell to the floor, and she retrieved it. As she examined the plastic animal, she surmised that this was a brontosaurus, an omnivorous type known for a long neck and tail. Larry saw her looking intently the figure and said,
"Why don't you keep that one?"
Dashile looked up surprised, "You would offer it to me of your own free will?"
"Why are you so surprised?"
"They seem so important to you," she replied.
"I like them, but I also like sharing, take it, really."
A wide grin opened on Dashi's face, and after thanking Larry she took the brontosaurus, who would now be known as Larry, to her cabin.

"Hey, do you want a dinosaur?" He held out a small stegosaurus model to the man. "I've got way more than I need."

*Lt slumped in his rack, he still couldn't get over how many had died here. Still couldn't sleep. He got up and walked into the cockpit*
