Jericho got 724 votes, yesterday! While that is another drop from the previous day's total, is is still the second-best daily total, and we need to be wary; we don't need the Rangers usurping us as top-scoring show! We need to rise to meet this new challenge!

BSG is also in pursuit of the 5th Hall of Fame slot, and, is 12,739 (13,262) votes, and, 24.36 (24.11) days, away!

Off to score deals at the COmp Swap Meet VOMP (Surface)

First though

The Surface Daily Report


Yesterday we got 219 Nominations. A brand new record, which blows our old one out of the water, and as our friend Ray (from FFF.net) was kind enough to point out, that's more votes than some shows in the Top 40 get.

And that's on a Friday, traditionally a slow day for most shows.

I am emmencely proud of you guys. But before we break our arms patting ourselves on the back, we must remember that we are in a battle with some determined fans. Miracles is getting support from the Jericho Rangers and there are a lot of them, and their show was just concludfed, so they are "active"

On the bright side (again) they had a bad day yesterday and only got 64 Noms, waaaay down from the 222 the day before. As long as we keep the heat on, we can and will catch them.

I would like to apologize regarding my totals yesterday for the Dresden Files, however. I looked at the wrong chart (I have several in tracking all this stuff) and credited them with 143 Noms. They actually only received 45 that day. Today they did worse with only 40.

They are going down.

One last thing. When you initially vote for Firefly, before nominating Surface, please add a check in the box for Buffy (another fine Joss Whedon show) as well. They have dropped behind Farscape in the race to the Hall of Fame honor. That's a personal favor to Ray and myself. I also check Ray's favorite Dark Shadows. You can vote for as many as you like. None of that affects your Nominations for Surface

OK that's it. Keep in mind, that itt will take days to catch the next shows even with these numbers, so keep at it, and keep looking for new friends to help. Esp. look on other boards you visit. There were 10 Million people who watched the Surface finale. They are out there somewhere. We need them.

The Daily Surface Report


Yesterday we got 163 Nominations. Perfectly respectable, esp. considering it was one of the slowest days for traffic on the Surface and Firefly boards, that I've ever seen. You guys are amazing. We are moving in quickly. We are a day and a half away from the next show (287 Noms) Centenial which hasn't received a single Nom since I started tracking it. The Dresden Files will go down shortly after that, as they can only muster an average of 40 Noms each day. Miracles with it's remarkable 222 Noms last Thursday, has proved unable to "stay the course" and pulled in only 46 Noms yesterday. Their numbers are irratic however, so I"m not sure how much trouble they might be.

And I'll have to be gone for most of the day, as well, because me and dad have to go visit my g-pa at his new house- He keeps buying houses, just because he can, and it really annoys me. What annoys me even more is that he expects us to help him move every time he moves, and I'm sick of it! . Besides, he's buying houses because he's a snob, and apparently can't seem to just settle down and keep a house, no, he has to spend all his money on new houses and new cars, and he never gives us any of this money, even when we really need it.
